A pharmaceutical company «GRAND MEDICAL GROUP AG» engaged in the wholesale trade of medicines and dietary supplements, representing interests in the CIS countries, is looking for a job of the General Manager for CIS Countries.
The Company's office is located in Istanbul, Turkey.
We need a candidate with knowledge of the pharmaceutical market in Ukraine and, preferably, CIS countries. With work experience in the pharmaceutical market, including at senior positions (Sales Director, Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, Business Unit) for at least 10 years.
1.1. Name of the structural unit: Central office for the region (group of countries)
1.2. Subordinates (manager): General Manager
1.3. He/She is the head (posts of direct subordinates): Heads of representative offices in the countries of the region, and others.

2. Official duties
2.1. Supervises the implementation of the plans of the representative offices aimed at organizing the sale of products in a timely manner, in the quantity and range anticipated by the sales plan.
2.1.1. Participates in the formation of strategic and tactical development plans on the territory of the region.
2.1.2. Ensures fulfillment of sales plans assigned to the representative offices.
2.1.3. Develops profitable new directions simultaneously with the expansion of the existing business.
2.1.4. Controls the implementation of development plans in the region.
2.1.5. He/She makes proposals on increasing the profitability of the region (group of countries).
2.2. Establishes mutually beneficial relations with strategic and new customers.
2.2.1. Gathers information about the situation in the territories and analyzes it.
2.2.2. Interacts with distributors and key customers.
2.2.3. Supervises the work of distributors in order to increase the sales volume and market share of the company in the relevant region.
2.2.4. Participates in the consideration of incoming consumer complaints and preparation of responses to the claims brought, as well as claims to the Clients in case of violation of the terms of contracts.
2.3. Organizes and controls the activities of the representative offices of the whole region.
2.3.0. Selection and training of the staff of the leading levels of representative offices.
2.3.1. Puts clear and achievable tasks to immediate subordinates, which correspond to the objectives of the market subdivision.
2.3.2. Coordinates the activities of representative offices, ensures the interchangeability of employees.
2.3.3. Analyzes the progress of accomplishment of the assigned tasks and introduces corresponding corrections.
2.3.4. Conducts scheduled visits to regional territories in order to monitor and understand the needs of customers.
2.3.5. Analyzes reports on sales for each direction as a team in general, and for each employee.
2.3.6. Develops and implements measures to identify and reduce accounts receivable.
2.3.7. He/She monitors compliance with the price policy throughout the territory at the level of the distributor-pharmacy.
2.3.8. Checks and approves programs aimed at promoting products.
3. Administrative work
3.1. Budgeting: develops, coordinates and monitors the budget of the representative offices of the whole region
3.2. Planning: strategic and tactical planning for the development of representative offices in the region
3.3. Reporting: daily, weekly, monthly
3.4. Personnel work: Operational management of representative offices, performance evaluation, assessment of resources to perform the required amount of work, admission and dismissal of employees
3.5. Development of documents: Job descriptions, internal documents
3.6. Supports up-to-date information, databases: monitors the maintenance of the customer database in the trusted territory
4. Has the right to make decisions on issues
4.1. Financial: within the budget of the regional representations
4.2. Selection of partners: Clients
4.3. Visiting of documents: internal regulatory documents for representations
5. Documents regulating work
5.1. External documents: Legislative and normative acts.
5.2. Internal documents: Standards of Civil Defense, Position on representation, Job description, Rules of internal labor regulations, Standards of work of employees of wholesale and retail direction.
6. Performance evaluation criteria
6.1. The implementation of the weekly and monthly planning activities for which he/she is responsible.
6.2. Compliance with the quality of the activities of weekly and monthly planning, for which he/she is responsible.
6.3. Implementation of weekly and monthly planning for the volume of activities for which he/she is responsible.
6.4. Satisfaction of customers.
6.5. Implementation of budget plans.
6.6. Implementation of plans for sales and distribution of products according to the criteria approved by the Company throughout the entire office.
6.7 Timely reporting and statistical forms.
7. Qualification requirements
7.1. Higher education
7.2. Special education, training courses
· PC (MS Office package, e-mail, Internet);
7.4. Work experience: at least five years in managerial positions and at least 10 years in sales
7.5. Professional knowledge:
· Conditions for concluding commercial transactions and methods for bringing goods to consumers;
· Methods for studying the demand for enterprise products;
· Progressive forms and methods of marketing and promotion
