I am working as the Software Group Leader in a company called Infoteks since December 2015. The company is in close collaboration with its peers and partners in China. It develops and produces "New Generation Payment Systems", "Hotel Entertainment Systems" and "Bus Entertainment Systems". Next objective is to manufacture the very first Turkish cell phone. I am mainly working on subjects such as, detecting and solving architectural problems in the software, improving system development life cycle, gathering corporate information and determining training needs of the personnel.

I worked as the Technical Leader in Unmanned Systems Department. I worked as a team leader, systems engineer and software developer for the following projects: Unmanned Land Vehicle, PEM Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Wireless Sensor Networks, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Work-Class ROV for Search & Rescue Ship, Work-Class ROV for Seismic Ship, Mini-ROV System, Training Simulation for Work-Class ROVs. In GATE, I was also the architect of the software development environment. We were using several embedded, server and desktop Linux distributions and Windows operating systems. We developed a Software Framework for Distributed Systems. Framework contained many services for any command and control system. I had developed most of the code for the framework. It contained bindings and API for C++ and C# (.NET) programming languages. Server code mostly used C++ and ran on both Linux & Windows. Even we used C# code to develop server applications also, .NET libraries were mostly used for the client applications that normally ran on surface control modules of unmanned systems. We were using several libraries and software suites such as, Boost, ZeroC Ice, OpenCV, LiquidXML, Chilkat, Geotrans, Matlab, DevExpress. We used SVN as the SCM tool.

I worked as the Software Group Leader in KBST. I worked as a developer in "Main Battle Tank Mission Computer Software" development team with our sister company then. I also worked for "Common Operatinal Picture (COP) in Strategical Level", "GRP-Case Sea Mine Development", "Coastal Surveillance Radar System" and "Diver Detection Sonar" projects. In KBST, I mainly supported business development personnel on the technical issues. We worked intensively on subjects about underwater acoustics.

I worked in Peace Eagle Project as a Software Team Leader. Peace Eagle was the AWACS program for the Turkish Air Forces. The main contractor was Boeing Company, while HAVELSAN was one of the sub-contractors of them. HAVELSAN was responsible for the development of "Mission Computing Segment", that is the airborne segment and the "Ground Support Segment" software. This also included the software development of all the Turkey-specific features. I worked for the development of Mission Computer software for 4.5 years. I was the team leader of "Internal Simulation Software Development Team". System users requested an embedded simulation capability while the aircraft was on mission. Embedded simulation contained the "Environment Simulation", the "Simulation of Aircraft Sensors", "Weapon Engagement" and "DataLink" simulation features. I mainly designed and coded Radar/IFF System simulation and environment simulation. Then I was assigned as the team leader of the "Communications Software Development Team". Developing interface software for airborne radios (V/UHF, HF & SATCOM) and "Internal Communications Subsystem (ICS)" was the responsibility of our team. We mainly used C/C++ and Java programming languages. "Mission" and "Display Processing" Computer were running Solaris OS on Sun Blade servers. Software framework that we used was based on ACE and CORBA architectures. We extensively used Rational Rose as the UML software design tool, Rational ClearCase to support SCM and Rational ClearQuest as the workflow automation tool. We also used Rational Purify, and Quantify, PureCoverage tools for test automation purposes. All the software development activities were subject to Boeing’s processes. HAVELSAN was awarded for CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraisal. I participated in defining the system development lifecycle processes. I have formed many guidelines, templates and process definition documents. I also prepared software development documentation according to MIL-STD-498 in both Turkish and English languages. I also participated in the development of a Software Architecture Framework for Distributed Systems in HAVELSAN.

I fulfilled my military service as an officer in the army.

I worked as an R&D engineer for 5,5 years in ASELSAN (Military Electronics Company) in Communications Division. I was working in Cryptologic Systems Department. I was responsible for the digital hardware and software design of various modules and cards that were used in crypto equipment. Modules were mostly controlled by popular microcontrollers of that time, such as 8051 derivatives and Texas TMS320 series. I also participated in the development of 9600 series frequency hopping radios and designed the "Frequency Hopping Module" of the radio system.
