INCOMING PIPE INSPECTION FOR BOTH 22”AND 28”PIPES - All pipes prior to beginning and during execution of unloading operations at production facility of SVAP-YUG, LLC will be subjected to check the thickness of 3LPE by using Elcometer 356 thickness gauge. And visual inspection for detection of damages if occurred during transportation especially with regard to corrosion protection coating (three-layer polyethylene) and pipe ends. All checks will be recorded to material acceptance reports and damaged pipes will be marked/quarantined. BODY OF PIPE - To ensure that body of pipe has not been damaged or attacked by corrosion during transportation. PROTECTIVE POLYETHYLENE COATING- Ensure polypropylene coating has not been scratched during transportation. All damages should be recorded. DURING ASSEMBLY- Inspection/Monitoring of holiday test for both 28&22 inch pipes, it is necessary to control the insulating coating integrity using the Holiday detector throughout the whole pipe length, prior to installation of steel reinforcement cage, and metal polymeric jacket/to be ready for concrete coating (INJECTION). CONCRETE WEIGHT COATED PIPE- During final inspection. Check/Monitor the length of pipe ends uncoated concrete pipe (cut back), concrete thickness and take the readings of weight of the concrete coated of each pipe and spot record.
